Student Housing

SÍF is a special member of Iceland’s student housing association, Byggingafélag Námsmanna (BN). BN provides students with comfortable rental housing in convenient locations.

BN offers double and single rooms, single-person studio apartments, two-bedroom double apartments, and three-bedroom apartments. Applications for apartments must be turned in electronically, application forms can be found on BN’s website (www.bn.is).

All students can apply for rental housing with BN, but those who study in BN member schools have priority. The member schools are: The University of Iceland’s College of Education, The Icelandic Academy of the Arts, Reykjavík University, and the Technical School of Iceland.
